Iron Shield Networks was founded in August 2015 by Gary H. Gotwalt Jr. Gary used his vast telecommunication experience to develop partnerships with 100’s of suppliers with the intent to becoming a single stop resource for government and enterprise organizations. The company adopted a resell agency retail model as the foundation.
In the Summer of 2017, Iron Shield Networks received certification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business affording the company and its partners greater access to Federal, State and Local Government business. This spawned the need to create and adopt a wholesale model option providing more buying choices for organizations. By the end of 2017, Iron Shield Networks won its first government contract and exceeded all deliverable requirements. As solution requirements evolved and bill expense management became more complex, it drove the need to find a strategic business partner to drive complex software technology support management.
In September 2018, Iron Shield Networks and RadiusPoint powered by Expenselogic Software agreed to a strategic partnership. The partnership provides the support backbone for new product development and solution advancements allowing both organization to increase revenue streams, improve efficiencies, and enhance capabilities.
